The origin and history of the Uvaly.cz website
The Uvaly.cz server was launched in December 1999, the impetus being the absence of other credible information about our city on the Internet. For six years, until the launch of the official website of the Municipal Office www.mestouvaly.cz in September 2005, this private initiative was the only information service for citizens and visitors to the city. / Note: The mayor and the secretary of the office at the time refused the offer to help with the creation of the city’s own website and, in response to this attitude, they did not mind the subsequent registration and use of the Uvaly.cz domain by a private person./ From February 2001 to 2007 (even after the City Office website was put into operation ) with the consent of the Ministry of the Interior, the electronic version of the monthly Život Úval, incl. his archive at www.Uvaly.cz.
In 2010, the Uvaly.cz website was included by the National Library in the collection of long-term recorded Czech websites as part of the Czech national bibliography and catalog of the National Library of the Czech Republic. The current layout of the Uvaly.cz website is from 2014 with modification in 2021.
Since the creation of the website, the operation and updating of the Uvaly.cz information server has been paid for only from private funds.

For all information materials displayed on the Uvaly.cz website, the origin is indicated or the materials and, in particular, own photographs. Further dissemination of Uvaly.cz content is possible only with prior written permission.
The concept of the website is created and the author of the posts is Lukáš Rubeš. Materials supplied by other authors are also published on the site at their discretion.
